Describe yourself in three words
I am social worker and friends of all. I am concerned about their health.

Your priority for the constituency
My priorities for the constituency are to improve health facilities (upgrade Gasa BHU-I to district hospital with doctors and all operation equipment. Laya BHU will be upgraded to BHU -I with one high altitude specialist and all equipment like ultrasound and blood test, etc. Mini BHU in Loongo Chiwog).
Better Road to Laya and towards Lunana, black top dzongkhag road from Punakha to Gasa.
Start trekking routes from Gasa to Lingzhi and develop new Gasa town.

One aspect you like and dislike in the ongoing election process?
Election was smooth and there is nothing I dislike about the election process.

What according to you is the biggest challenge for the country?
The biggest challenge in the country is huge loan in hydropower sector before completing ongoing projects. Health services in remote areas need to improve since their lives are equally important.

Three reasons why people should vote for you
People should vote for me for an improved health services for all and also for the development of Gasa and Laya.
I have 10 years of experience working in gewog as administration officer. I also worked as social worker, which benefited them, and I wish to continue my humble service. For a better service, they will vote for the President, Lotay Tshering and me.

The first thing you will do if you win
I will improve health and road conditions and also open new trekking routes for the benefit of Khatoed - Laya constituency. I will Tsa-Wa-Sum with my best ability.

Social media, a boon or bane in this election for you?
The impact of social media depends on how we use and how we handle it. It benefitted me in this election process.

Changa Dawa
Age: 25
Experience: Assistant Secretary
Education: Bachelor of Arts in Language and Literature

Describe yourself in three words
Loyal, dedicated, and hardworking.

Your priority for the constituency
My priority can be summed up as infrastructural development since my constituency is a remote part of Bhutan. The first thing when I think of development in my constituency is to bring road connectivity from Gasa to Laya.

One aspect you like and dislike in the ongoing election process?
Like: Now people are more aware and they try to make conscious choice while voting.
Dislike: I cannot say that I dislike anything in this election process. For me, everything is done well and organised.

What according to you is the biggest challenge for the country?
As a youth myself, one of the biggest challenges is youth unemployment.

Three reasons why people should vote for you
The first is that, I can enhance youth representation in the Parliament and bring out youth related issues through my knowledge and experiences. Druk Phuensum Tshogpa is a political party with lot of knowledge and it would be great if I get to represent the party in the parliament. I believe I can serve my people with utmost dedication and hard work.

The first thing you will do if you win
Continue the road construction from Gasa to Laya so that people travelling to Laya can travel in ease since Laya has higher population.

Social media, a boon or bane in this election for you?
I cannot say much because I see both positive and negative sides to it. For me, I haven’t used social media as a platform to promote my party or myself.
